Where are all the Deserts located?
Deserts are an arid area but it amazingly takes up most of Australia. They all have different features and plants that can adapt in this harsh environment. Below are 3 deserts that are located in Australia:

THE GREAT VICTORIA DESERT
The Great Victoria Desert is a vast sand dune and sand plain desert and is the largest desert in Australia. It is located, and shared between by the South and Western Australia. This desert was named after Queen Victoria back in 1875 by Ernest Giles. Salt rivers are another feature of this desert, the best known lake is the "Serpentine Lake."
THE GREAT SANDY DESERT
The Great Sandy Desert is a vast flt land dune or erg desert in Australia's northwest. The desert is bordered by the rocky Pilbara and the ninety-mile beach to the Kimberly (to the west and north). To the east is the Lake Mackay and the Gibson Desert. To the south is the Little Sandy Desert. There is a small habitation in this desert, allowing a few Aboriginal communities and a few mines.
TANAMI DESERT
The Tanami desert covers the central region of the Northern Territory. Vegetation in the desert is mainly hummocks or Spinifex grass, and the landscape is covered with anthills or termite mounds. There are also rocky outcrops, sand dunes and salt lakes. Gold is mined at the Tanami and Grandites mines. Also part of the desert are Aboriginal communities, they are Balgo, Yuendemu, Lajamanu and Jarra Jarra. Balgo is famous for its vibrant art.
